Contemporary Planting
A contemporary yet naturalistic planting was created to accompany the modern timber clad extension of this detached house in Wirksworth. The large front garden was planted with structural flowering shrubs to sit alongside some established existing plants, with a palette of whites, pinks and purple perennials and bulbs to weave throughout. A simple gravelled path snakes through the planting, creating a journey through the space. The colour scheme and soft, natural feel is repeated in the back garden, with colours to complement the grey bricks of the new raised porcelain patio.
